Bisleri International, a manufacturer of mineral water in bottles, establishes its first foreign operations in the UAE. The brand has teamed with the Nasser Abdulla Lootah Group, a reputable and well-established Gulf business.
The Nasser Abdulla Lootah Group of Businesses
in the region's flagship, Emirates Drinking Water, will handle the
manufacturing and bottling. The partnership will increase Bisleri
International's visibility in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
In April 2023, the operations will get underway.
Vedica, a Himalayan spring water, and Bisleri, a mineral water, will be offered
in 1.5 litre and 500-millilitre sizes at mass-premium general and modern trade
stores, as well as HoReCa and e-commerce platforms.
The bottled water market in the UAE is forecast
to increase significantly. A recent market analysis predicts that over the next
five years, the bottled water market would expand at a CAGR of 11%.
This is caused by an increase in the number of
immigrants and the expanding tourism industry, which has increased the demand
for usable water.
In addition, the Indian expatriate population,
which makes up around 30% of the nation's population, is the largest ethnic
group. The audience has an emotional connection with Bisleri, a venerable
Indian brand that is synonymous with the niche.
As a result, the UAE's entry into the global
market comes at the ideal time to build relationships with the Indian diaspora
and increase audience trust.
The CEO of Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd.,
Angelo George, elaborated on strategies for entering the Global Middle East
market with the oldest and most reputable brand from the United Arab Emirates
"The UAE market predicts strong growth, and there is a clear need for
Indian brands and goods.
The Indian diaspora in the area has a strong
connection to Bisleri, a venerable Indian brand. Our market penetration will be
boosted by our relationship with the Nasser Abdulla Lootah Group. We are
committed to growing our presence abroad, and the UAE is just the beginning of
those aspirations."
The general manager of Emirates Drinking
Water, Mr Felix Francis, and chief operating officer Sunir Sulaiman said the
following regarding their association with Bisleri International: "We are
thrilled to work with Bisleri, the oldest water brand in India.
We are certain that the tradition of Bisleri
in India and our experience are complementary. The bottling will be carried out
under the Emirates Drinking Water banner. We are prepared to accomplish our
objectives in the cutthroat UAE industry with Bisleri.
